Wesley Chapel UMC will receive a special offering at our Ash Wednesday service on March 6th at 5p.m. The offering will go to help those who were affected by the tornado in Lee County, Alabama on Sunday. Our offering will go through United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR). As you know, 100%of offerings through UMCOR go directly for disaster relief in the specific place you intend it to go. Everything you give will be helping our neighbors in Lee County. Please join us Wednesday night at 5p.m.
The 2019 United Methodist General Conference has ended. The traditionalist plan has passed. The clergy will gather Saturday to learn what this means. Any changes to be implamented which need further legislation will happen at the 2020 General Conference. Prayer for thankfulness for all delegates who have given so much this week. May we all work together as children of God.
